Account Maturity
What happens at the end of a fixed deposit bond term.
We will contact you 14 days prior to maturity. Please provide instructions prior to your renewal date to guarantee your existing customer rate.
If we don’t hear from you, we will automatically reinvest your deposit into a seven-day instant access account. Following a maximum of four seven-day renewals (i.e. 28 days following the original maturity date), we will make a full repayment electronically to your nominated bank account.
If you hold an ISA account, your funds will remain in an instant access account until we receive instructions from you.
The interest rate on our instant access account is currently 0.10% Gross/AER. There are several options available paying a higher rate of interest, so please tell us quickly what you would like to do when your deposit matures so that your savings continue to benefit from a competitive interest rate.
